Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talend resource to join our team. As a Talend expert,
you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using
Talend ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of
data integration projects, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Data Integration: Design, develop, test, and deploy data integration solutions using Talend ETL
tools to meet business requirements and objectives.
ETL Development: Create and optimize ETL jobs and workflows to extract, transform, and load
data from various sources into target systems, databases, or data warehouses.
Data Transformation: Implement data transformation processes, including data cleansing,
enrichment, and aggregation, to ensure high data quality and consistency.
Performance Optimization: Optimize Talend jobs and processes for improved performance,
scalability, and efficiency.
Data Mapping: Develop data mapping specifications and documentation for data integration
projects, ensuring alignment with business rules and data models.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for
Talend ETL jobs and processes, addressing any issues or performance bottlenecks.
Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies, data security, and privacy
standards throughout the data integration lifecycle.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts,
and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with Talend best practices and emerging trends in data
integration and ETL technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Talend jobs, processes, and data
integration solutions.
Job Requirements
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience working with Talend ETL tools.
Strong expertise in data integration, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts.
Proficient in SQL and other database query languages for data manipulation and analysis.
Knowledge of data modeling and schema design principles.
Experience with various data formats and data sources such as CSV, XML, JSON, databases, APIs,
etc.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members
and stakeholders.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and integration with cloud services is a plus.
Certifications in Talend or related data integration technologies are desirable.
