About the role
A Software Engineer – QA is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications by designing and executing test plans, test cases, and automated/manual testing processes. The role involves identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, and performing functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing as required. The engineer is also expected to develop and maintain automated test scripts, participate in code and requirement reviews, analyze test results, and continuously improve QA processes and testing frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, knowledge of software development and testing methodologies, and experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, or similar technologies are typically required.
