About the role
A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for ensuring that software products meet quality standards and function as intended before they are released to users. They design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated or manual testing procedures to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues. QA Engineers collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand project requirements, verify that applications meet functional and non-functional specifications, and ensure a seamless user experience. They document test results, report issues, track defects through resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards. Additionally, QA Engineers may perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing while maintaining testing documentation and supporting the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-quality software products.
