About the role
One for the reputed FMCG company opening for QC plant packaging position required at Vinayak Industries Vadodara
Background:
Executive/ Sr. Officer QC at Vinayak Vadodara.
Person would be primarily responsible for ensuring BCCL QMS implementation and release of FG at Vinayak Vadoara and support to QA team quality audits, quality systems, NPD validations, Tech-transfer and development projects as applicable.
Reporting Structure:
Candidate would be directly reporting to Head Quality-Paonta Sahib with responsibilities as under:
· QA/QC & managing quality for Vinayak Industries on routine basis - 70% KPIs
· Support to QA team in QMS / Audit program/ NPD validations, Tech-transfer and development projects-30% KPIs
Key Result Areas- Primary (70% KPI - QA/QC & managing quality for Vinayak Industries on routine basis):
i. Ensuring standard Quality practices & procedures to ensure standard quality practices for sampling, release of finished goods as per AQL and analytical protocols are followed at 2P factory related to RM/PM/Bulk/FG.
ii. Driving improvement in QACI (Quality Assurance Capability Index), QRI (Quality Rating Index) & QMS (Quality Management Systems) as per BCCL Quality standards.
iii. Ensuring stringent IPQC checks are implemented on the shop floor and all quality incidents are mapped for resolutions as per set SOPs.
iv. Co-ordinating with 2P team, BCCL Quality/R&D/SCM and other stakeholders of BCCL on critical quality related matters and extend support to 3P team in providing resolutions.
v. Responsible for conducting RCA and implementing CAPA at site related to the product or process in relevant areas to prevent recurrence of complaints/quality issues.
vi. Support 2P for management of QMS activities like std. of specification of Bulk/RM/PM, artworks, shade cards related to plant and co-ordination with respective teams.
vii. Ensure 2P team keeps the compliance of local FDA/LM laws for BCCL products in coordination with 2P team.
Key Result Areas- Secondary (30% KPIs- Support QA matters)
- Manage Quality audit program for plant & nearby zone’s vendors as per standard audit plan from QA team.
- Periodically review manufacturing and packaging practices at 2P for adherence standard manufacturing processes and lead the improvements.
- Support central QA team on visits for Customer Complaint program (VOC) for applicable markets .
- Share daily/monthly MIS and structured trend analysis reports for overall quality status.
- Interact local vendors for Vendor quality improvements as per central audit team’s plans.
Qualifications/ Skill Set required:
Educational qualifications
(Threshold educational background required to execute the role)
1. M.Sc. Chemistry / B-Pharma
2. QMS & process knowledge of Hair Oils / Haircare products
Relevant experience
(Nature & years of relevant experience required to execute the role)
1. 5-6 years of experience with 4-5 years of managing 2P/3P Quality systems.
2. Good understanding of process, packaging, FG products and QMS
3. Well versed with hair oil and Personal care product manufacturing process
4. Good knowledge of Audits, Validations, incoming quality for FMCG
5. FG AQL, sampling, IPQC, Depots Audits, supplier audits
6. Market complaints investigations, CAPA, Reports
7. SOPs, process improvements, Daily/Monthly MIS etc.
Soft Skill Set required
1. Able to implement BCCL Operation’s strategy at 2P/3P as per plan. .
2. Analytical knowledge, structured problem-solving skills and expertise in management systems like QMS, IMS, and other Audit programs.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills with demonstrated abilities to both works collaboratively.
4. Strong skills on process, product failure to maintain Operations KPI at par with BCCL standards
