Temp Role: Summary of Responsibilities & Minimum Qualifications
A. Consolidated Responsibilities:
· P&L Production & Controls
o Produce daily P&L, reconcile breaks, and run standard controls.
o Follow established procedures and escalate issues to seniors.
· Risk & Governance
o Perform control checks such as P&L substantiation, adjustments review, etc.
o Ensure adherence to policies.
· Business Understanding
o Develop working knowledge of the Fixed Income products supported and valuation basics.
o Understand key drivers of P&L for the assigned desk.
· Reporting & Communication
o Prepare and circulate daily P&L reports and commentary.
o Interact mainly with Finance & Ops teams and BUs where applicable.
· Teamwork & Working Style
o Execute tasks under guidance from seniors.
o Focus on accuracy, timeliness, and learning on the job.
B. Minimum Qualifications – Associate
· Education:
o Commerce or Finance degree; CA / MBA / CFA preferred.
· Experience:
o 1 to 3 years typically considered. (CA freshers can apply)
· Skills:
o Strong attention to detail, good analytical ability, Excel proficiency.
o Basic understanding of financial products and valuation concepts.
o Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines.
