About the role
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain management dashboards and MIS reports for founders and leadership
- Track key business and financial metrics, including revenue, collections, expenses, cash flow, burn rate, and profitability.
- Conduct budget vs. actual analysis and identify key business drivers.
- Work closely with founders on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects.
- Support decision-making through financial analysis and business performance reporting.
- Oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Manage banking relationships and treasury operations.
- Support cash forecasting and liquidity planning.
Requirements:
- Qualified CA (first attempt) with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and audits.
- Experience preparing management reports and founder-level MIS.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
- Experience in startups, fintech, NBFCs, or high-growth environments is preferred.
- High ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
