About the role
- Lead and manage the local Finance team which includes the Life/Health Client Accounting team
- Financial management including providing financial insights in driving and supporting business strategy, sustainable growth and cash flow and capital efficiency management
- Manage financial reporting and management reporting
- Provide reliable and accurate financial information to both internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory and tax reporting
- Work with responsible person/s for investment management, including associated risk management and compliance
- Oversee capital adequacy, solvency monitoring and capital planning
- Liaison with Head Office Tax function and external tax agents and local tax authorities; and be familiar with tax developments in India and its implications to our business
- Establish and maintain effective communication with external authorities
- Provide effective and efficient management of office facilities and HR-related on-site/administrative support
- Participate in regional and international initiatives and projects
