About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with strong expertise in equity markets, cryptocurrency, ETFs, mutual funds, wealth management, and trade settlements. This role involves market analysis, trade operations, corporate actions, taxation, and ensuring high-quality support for investment clients.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse equities, ETFs, crypto and mutual funds.
- Track market trends, corporate actions and financials.
- Prepare research insights and support investment decisions.
- Execute and monitor equity/ETF/crypto trades.
- Handle trade processing, reconciliation and settlement cycles.
- Work with brokers and custodians for accurate closures.
- Ensure adherence to NISM and regulatory standards.
- Manage GST, TDS/TCS and Income Tax filings.
- Maintain tax records, reconciliations, and assist in audits.
- Handle notices, queries and statutory compliance.
- Process dividends, bonuses, mergers, rights and redemptions.
- Reconcile entitlements and maintain audit-ready reports.
- Coordinate with custodians, depositories and internal teams.
- Monitor OMS/EMS systems and market connectivity.
- Resolve technical issues impacting trading flow.
- Conduct daily system checks and support upgrades/UAT.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of equity, crypto, ETFs and mutual funds.
- Experience in settlements, corporate actions and trade ops.
- Understanding of taxation for equity/crypto transactions.
- Good Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability.
