About the role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain firmware for IoT devices.
- Implement FreeRTOS-based task management and communication stacks.
- Integrate MQTT, HTTP, and device cloud features.
- Debug and optimise performance, memory, and connectivity.
- Work closely with hardware, cloud, and testing teams to deliver stable IoT products.
Requirements:
- Strong programming experience in Embedded C.
- Hands-on experience with FreeRTOS (tasks, scheduling, queues, semaphores).
- Expertise in MQTT protocol implementation.
- Good understanding of IoT architectures and device-cloud communication.
- Experience working with HTTP/HTTPS for API communication.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Quectel modules (BG95/96 EC25 etc. )
- Knowledge of LTE/4G/NB-IoT modem integration.
- Basic understanding of security (TLS, certificates).
