About the role
This is an engineering role at the intersection of engineering and customer success. You embed with customer teams, understand how they work, and rapidly build and ship agentic AI solutions on the platform. It suits engineers who want high ownership, fast feedback loops, and to see directly how their code changes a customer's business.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship. Design, build and deploy agentic systems, custom integrations, workflows and applications on the platform. Write production-quality code under real deadlines, balancing speed with maintainability.
- Debug in live environments. Fix issues across the stack, from data pipelines to APIs to front-end integrations, inside customer environments.
- Own it after launch. Own the technical relationship with your customers after deployment, so what you built stays stable and scales with their needs.
- Work directly with customers. Sit with customer teams to understand their business processes, pain points and technical environment, then turn that into what you build.
- Feed the product. Work with our core product and engineering teams to turn one-off customer builds into reusable, generalizable features.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional software engineering, ideally including customer-facing or implementation work.
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems: multi-step agents, tool calling, and agent orchestration with frameworks such as LangGraph.
- Working experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) to connect agents to tools, APIs and data sources.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, Go or similar), and comfort working across the full stack.
- Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Comfort working independently when requirements are ambiguous and change fast.
- Clear communication: you can explain technical trade-offs to engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- A bias toward action: you ship a working solution today rather than a perfect one next month.
Good to have:
- Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, solutions engineer, or in consulting or implementation.
- Experience with other agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar), RAG pipelines, LLM evaluation, or data-intensive systems.
- Familiarity with enterprise environments, integration patterns, and security and compliance.
- Startup experience, or comfort with the pace and scope changes of an early-stage company.
