About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright.
- Perform web and/or mobile application testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Establish QA processes, testing standards, and best practices from the ground up.
- Define test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test execution workflows.
- Identify, document, track, and report defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing as required.
- Work independently and take ownership of the overall QA function for the project.
- Collaborate directly with the US client team to understand requirements, discuss issues, and provide regular testing updates.
- Identify gaps in existing testing practices and continuously improve test coverage and efficiency.
Requirements:
- TypeScript: Strong hands-on programming experience.
- Playwright: Practical experience in test automation and framework development.
- Java: Working knowledge or hands-on experience.
- Web and/or Mobile Testing: Experience testing web applications and/or mobile applications.
- QA Process Setup: Experience as the first QA engineer in a team or project, establishing QA processes and testing practices from scratch.
