About the role
Responsibilities:
- Feature Development: Build responsive, high-quality web applications and interactive UIs using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e. g., React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular).
- Performance Optimisation: Monitor, profile, and optimise frontend application performance to ensure fast load times, smooth rendering, and efficient state management.
- Collaboration and Integration: Partner with backend engineers to define API contracts and seamlessly integrate RESTful endpoints or GraphQL mutations/queries into frontend services.
- UI/UX Implementation: Translate complex UI/UX designs, wireframes, and design systems into reusable, component-driven, and highly maintainable frontend code.
- Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, modular, and testable code. Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks (e. g., Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright) to guarantee application reliability.
- Best Practices: Participate in code reviews, enforce codebase standards, maintain comprehensive documentation, and stay current with emerging frontend trends and security practices.
