About the role
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with 3-5 years of experience in building responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and be comfortable working on modern web development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive and interactive web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Build reusable and maintainable frontend components.
- Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional web interfaces.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI, functionality, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and follow frontend development best practices.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-structured code.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Frontend Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience building responsive web applications.
- Good understanding of DOM, browser fundamentals, and web standards.
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Good understanding of frontend performance and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to convert UI/UX designs into responsive web pages.
Good to Have:
- Experience with a modern JavaScript framework/library such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js .
- Experience with frontend build tools and package managers such as Webpack, Vite, or npm.
- Knowledge of accessibility and web performance optimisation.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Exposure to CI/CD and cloud-based application development.
