About the role
We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineering Manager to lead frontend development, drive technical excellence, and build scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on frontend expertise, proven engineering leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of frontend engineers.
- Drive frontend architecture, technical design, and development best practices.
- Build scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver product features.
- Drive performance optimization, application security, and maintainability.
- Manage sprint planning, task prioritization, delivery timelines, and technical dependencies.
- Identify technical challenges and drive continuous improvements in frontend development.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technology decisions.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with React.js and modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and UI development.
- Experience with frontend architecture, reusable components, and state management.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integration with backend services.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks and automated testing.
- Understanding of web performance optimization, debugging, and browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices.
Leadership Requirements:
- Proven experience leading and mentoring frontend engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical contributions with people management.
- Experience driving technical roadmaps, delivery commitments, and engineering standards.
