About the role
We are looking for a full-stack developer, frontend-focused, who is passionate about building intuitive, high-quality user experiences. This role will primarily focus on frontend development while also contributing to backend services when required.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications.
- Develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using modern SPA frameworks.
- Translate product and design requirements into a clean, scalable frontend architecture.
- Optimise applications for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams.
- Contribute to backend development (APIs, integrations) using Python when needed.
- Debug issues and ensure a seamless user experience.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Deep hands-on experience with React, Vue, or Angular (React preferred if applicable).
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimisation.
- Experience with API integration and asynchronous programming.
- Working knowledge of Python (backend basics, API development).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills.
Good to Have:
- Strong design sense / aesthetic taste and attention to UI details.
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with frontend performance tools and testing frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud environments or CI/CD pipelines.
