About the role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
- Build scalable backend APIs and services using Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
- Design and implement REST APIs, server-side business logic, and integrations between front-end and backend systems.
- Design, manage, and optimise SQL and NoSQL databases, including schemas, queries, migrations, and data interactions.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards and design patterns.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using JUnit, TestNG, Jasmine, Karma, and other relevant frameworks.
- Follow TDD practices and apply Core Java design patterns and microservices best practices.
- Optimise applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across both front-end and back-end layers.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and developers to deliver features effectively.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Monitor application performance and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with technologies such as RxJS, NgRx, and optionally Node.js and GraphQL for application development and integrations.
