About the role
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a full-stack capacity.
- Strong, production-proven JavaScript and TypeScript skills across both frontend and Node.js backend environments.
- Demonstrated ability to own features end-to-end, from UI component through to API and cloud function, without specialist handoffs.
- Experience building and maintaining component-based frontends.
- Familiarity with SvelteJS, React, Vue, or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Solid AWS Lambda and API Gateway experience, including an understanding of cold starts, timeouts, IAM scoping, and cost optimisation.
- Comfortable designing and documenting REST and/or GraphQL APIs, including versioning, authentication, and contract management.
- Experience with serverless deployment tooling such as Serverless Framework, AWS SAM, or CDK.
- Strong automated testing practices across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
- Proficient in Git, pull request workflows, and code review practices in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with confidence working across cultures and time zones.
- Comfortable operating autonomously with minimal day-to-day supervision.
