Full Stack Lead - Java

Responsibilities:

• Implement our new platform and ensure our high-quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with the lead architect in Munich to define and refine the system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.
• Translate architectural designs into actionable development tasks for the India team.
• Provide technical leadership for the development team in India, including mentoring, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, compliance with standards, and maintainability.
• Lead the design, implementation, and unit/integration testing of Java Spring Boot and Angular components.
• Architect full-stack solutions integrating backend, frontend, and relational database systems.
• Guide the containerization of applications using Docker and deployment to Microsoft Azure environments.
• Ensure efficient database persistence and optimization using RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept for evaluating new technologies (including optional image processing and ML capabilities).
• Actively contribute to process improvements, Agile ceremonies, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of professional software development experience using Spring and Angular, including at least 3 years in a tech lead or senior developer capacity.
• Strong backend expertise using Java Spring Boot and related Spring modules (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) (mandatory).
• Strong frontend expertise using Angular (with TypeScript) and Electron (mandatory).
• Professional experience with Angular frontend development (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and deployment models.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL), including performance tuning.
• Experience with NoSQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions) and Git-based workflows.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and frontend testing (Jasmine, Karma).
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex distributed applications.
