About the role
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance services.
- Participate in architecture discussions and make informed technical decisions considering scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Lead projects end-to-end.
- Review architecture and conduct strong code reviews.
- Break down large projects, identify risks early, and troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Coordinate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Design.
- Take ownership of production issues.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, system design, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
