About the role
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Full Stack Developers and mentor junior engineers.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js and React.js .
- Architect robust backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Optimise application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Drive CI/CD implementation and deployment best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or technical projects.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and React.js .
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Strong understanding of HTML5 CSS3 Redux/Context API.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of Redis, caching mechanisms, and message queues.
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Experience in system design and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Next.js .
- Experience with serverless architecture.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
