About the role
- Lead end-to-end Cloud Architecture, from discovery and assessment through solution design, implementation, and production support.
- Architect enterprise solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while addressing scalability, resiliency, security, and operational requirements.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements across BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, and Government / Public Sector environments into secure and scalable cloud architectures.
- Produce architecture decision records, high-level and low-level designs, and executive-ready architecture blueprints.
- Own Cloud Networking & Security architecture for enterprise cloud platforms, including secure connectivity, network segmentation, identity, access controls, encryption, security governance, and zero-trust principles.
- Design cloud platforms that meet the security and compliance requirements of regulated environments.
- Support alignment with applicable standards identified for engagements, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, and government compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on secure cloud architecture decisions.
- Design and build enterprise-grade Landing Zone Architecture covering organizational structures, identity, networking, security controls, governance, and guardrails.
- Establish scalable governance approaches appropriate for enterprise cloud adoption.
- Help standardize cloud foundations and reusable architectural patterns across engagements.
- Develop modular and reusable infrastructure automation using Terraform.
- Integrate Terraform delivery with CI/CD practices to enable repeatable and governed cloud platform deployments.
- Establish reusable infrastructure patterns that improve delivery consistency and reduce manual provisioning effort.
- Contribute reusable cloud architecture and automation assets to engineering and architecture teams.
- Apply foundational Multi-Cloud knowledge when supporting cloud architecture and integration requirements across environments.
- Incorporate FinOps principles into architectural decisions to improve cloud cost visibility, governance, and optimization.
- Apply foundational AI/GenAI Automation concepts to cloud assessment, solutioning, and automation opportunities.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to client executives and internal stakeholders, communicating cloud solutions, architectural decisions, and transformation roadmaps.
- Mentor engineers and architects and promote reusable architecture and delivery practices.
- Support the development of standardized cloud approaches and accelerators.
