About the role

Role OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned GCP Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade data and cloud solutions. This role will be responsible for defining end-to-end cloud and data architecture, driving strategic decisions, and enabling scalable, secure, and high-performance data ecosystems for our clients.Key Responsibilities· Define and drive enterprise-level data and cloud architecture strategy.· Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on GCP.· Design end-to-end cloud architecture including data, application, and integration layers.· Build and optimize data lakes, warehouses, and real-time data pipelines.· Lead solutioning using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.· Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards (especially in Healthcare domain).· Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver value-driven solutions.· Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture guidance to teams.· Ensure performance optimization, cost efficiency, scalability, and reliability.· Drive best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Required Skills & Experience· 12–15 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture / Cloud Architecture.· Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with 5+ years of hands-on experience.· Proven experience in defining and implementing cloud architecture strategies.· Deep knowledge of BigQuery and modern data warehousing architecture.· Strong experience in designing large-scale ETL/ELT and real-time data pipelines.· Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.· Expertise in data modeling, performance tuning, and distributed systems.· Experience with Airflow / Cloud Composer and orchestration frameworks.· Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance (Healthcare preferred).· Experience in client-facing roles, solutioning, and stakeholder management.Good to Have· Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure.· GCP Certifications (Professional Data Engineer / Cloud Architect).· Experience in Healthcare domain (HIPAA or similar compliance exposure).· Experience in BFSI or enterprise-scale data transformation programs.· Exposure to AI/ML-driven data platforms.
