Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Supplier Identification & Evaluation: Identify and screen potential global suppliers, conduct technical audits, and perform process validation and risk assessments.
- Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management: Lead competitive RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes, perform cost benchmarking, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and long-term supply agreements.
- Supplier Development: Monitor supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, responsiveness) and implement improvement plans through structured reviews.
- Technical Oversight: Provide sourcing insights to engineering teams regarding manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Quality Resolution: Support suppliers in resolving chronic quality issues using root-cause analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
