About the role
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Go.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions around system design, scalability, and reliability.
- Build and optimize RESTful/gRPC APIs, ensuring high performance and low latency under production load.
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) — schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Integrate services with message queues/event streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) where applicable.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and help improve build, test and deploy automation
- 4–6 years of overall software development experience, with at least 2–4 years of hands-on Go development in production environments.
- Strong understanding of Go fundamentals: goroutines, channels, interfaces, error handling, and Go's memory model/concurrency patterns.
- Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with gRPC is a strong plus.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries; exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Practical experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes) in production settings.
