Guidewire Billing Center

Experience Required: 6+ Years (Minimum 4+ years in Guidewire Billing Center)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire Billing Center Developer to join our development team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the implementation, configuration, and integration of the Guidewire Billing Center application, with a strong grasp of Java/Gosu, Web Services, and Billing workflows. Experience in the full SDLC, Agile methodologies, and working in enterprise environments is required.

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Guidewire Billing Center solutions using Gosu scripting and Java.
• Customize and extend Guidewire applications based on business requirements.
• Work on Policy-Billing integration and third-party integrations.
• Develop and maintain billing rules, workflows, batch processes, and UI components.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and project managers to ensure optimal solution delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Understand and implement best practices for Guidewire development.
• Provide production support and maintenance for Guidewire applications.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Billing Center (version 8 or above).
• 6+ years of total software development experience.
• Proficient in Gosu, Java, SOAP/REST web services.
• Experience with Guidewire Integration and Messaging.
• Strong knowledge of Billing processes like invoicing, payments, delinquency, write-offs, etc.
• Experience with Guidewire Studio, GUnit, and Data Model Customization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control (Git/SVN), and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Guidewire Certification (Billing Center Specialist or Developer).
• Experience with Cloud deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Maven, etc.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
