As the Head-Finance&Accounts,youwillplayapivotalroleinensuring the financial integrity, compliance, and strategic
direction.You will lead a team of finance and accounting professionals, driving
excellence in financialoperationsand providing valuable insights to
support key decision-making processes.
KeyResponsibilities
●Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and manage monthly and quarterly financial forecasting. Monitor financial performance againstthebudgetandprovideregularupdatestostakeholders.
●FinancialReporting:Overseethepreparationandpresentationoffinancial
statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, Dashboards and Automation. Ensure compliance with accountingstandardsandregulatoryrequirements.
●Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuringsufficientliquiditytomeetoperationalneedsandstrategic investments.
●AP&AR:ProficiencyinmanagingAccountsReceivable(AR)andAccounts
Payable (AP) processes & Taxation ensuring accurate recording, timely reconciliation, and effective communication with vendors and clients
●StatutoryCompliances&Taxation:ProficiencyinmanagingTaxation&
Statutoryfiling.
●CostManagement: Identifyopportunitiesforcostreductionand efficiency improvements. Implement and monitor cost control measures.
●Revenue Recognition:Ensureaccurateandtimelyrevenuerecognitionin accordancewithapplicableaccountingstandards.
●Financial Analysis: Conductfinancial analysis to support decision-making, including profitability analysis, ROI calculations, and financial modeling.
●RiskManagement:Identifyfinancialrisksanddevelopmitigationstrategies. Ensure appropriate insurance coverageandriskmanagementpoliciesarein place.
●InvestorRelations:Managerelationshipswithinvestors,banks,andother
financial stakeholders. Prepare and present financialinformationtoinvestors and board members.
●TeamLeadership:Leadandmentorthefinanceteam,fosteringacultureof
continuousimprovementandprofessionaldevelopment.Ensuretheteamhas the resources and support needed to succeed.
RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field + fulltime MBA or .CA would be an added advantage
●Experience:Minimumof12yearsofexperienceinfinance,withatleast3
yearsinaleadershiprolewithintheITSaaSindustry(CloudIndustry preferred)
●WhohasHandledFinancialrolewhereprocessesandpracticeswere implemented
●Experienceinunderstandingforeignmarketbusiness
●Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, andadvancedExcelskills.KnowledgeofSaaSmetricsandrevenue recognition principles.
●Completeunderstandingofthecustomerinvoicingprocess.
●Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate the finance team.●Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
●Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
●Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
●Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
