Head - Contracting- (LD- Grade)

We are hiring for one of our prestigious clients, a leading diversified infrastructure and energy conglomerate, for the position of Head – Contracting (LD Grade).

This is a leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide contracting governance, clause management, risk frameworks, contract lifecycle management (CLM), and post-award contract performance across large-scale and high-value projects.

Airport / Energy / Infrastructure / Land Development / Sports / Large Conglomerates

• LLB from a reputed institution is mandatory
• LLM / PG Diploma in Business Law / Contract Management Certification will be an added advantage

• Lead enterprise-level contracting governance for critical and high-value contracts
• Build and manage clause libraries, templates, negotiation playbooks, and fallback positions
• Define risk assessment frameworks and approval thresholds for critical contracts
• Standardize contracting practices across multiple business units
• Ensure regulatory compliance including GST, RBI, labor laws, and sectoral guidelines

• Ensure all executed contracts and key contractual metadata are accurately maintained in CLM systems
• Interface contracts with SAP, billing systems, project controls, and related business systems
• Establish governance for version control, audit readiness, and approval workflows

• Drive periodic contract performance reviews with Business, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams
• Monitor obligations, SLAs, LD triggers, insurance renewals, BGs, claims, extensions, and change controls
• Support dispute management, contractual claims, EOTs, price escalations, and contractual relief mechanisms
• Advise leadership on contractual levers including LDs, incentives, termination rights, and audit rights
• Ensure effective contract close-out including warranties, reconciliations, and securities release

• Work closely with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Business leadership teams
• Conduct cross-functional workshops and governance forums
• Drive adoption and training programs on contracting standards and CLM processes
• Translate lessons learned from disputes and claims into stronger governance frameworks

• Strong expertise in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
• Exposure to complex EPC / infrastructure / energy contracts
• Strong understanding of pre & post contract management
• Excellent commercial acumen and risk assessment capabilities
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation advisory skills
• Strategic thinking with execution-driven approach
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Candidates currently working in large infrastructure, airport, energy, renewable, EPC, or conglomerate environments
• Experience managing critical and high-value contracts in multi-business-unit organizations
• Exposure to digital contracting systems and data-driven contract governance
