We are hiring for our leading client in the residential real estate sector, known for large-scale project development, strong execution governance, and structured procurement practices. The organization is expanding its leadership team and seeking a senior professional to establish and lead the Contracts & Procurement function.

The Head – Contracts & Procurement will establish and lead the procurement and contracts function for residential projects. The role is responsible for strategic sourcing, contract governance, cost optimization, vendor management, risk mitigation, and procurement compliance aligned with project execution schedules and commercial objectives.

Strategic Procurement Planning

• Align procurement strategy with project schedules and budgets
• Develop procurement plans and sourcing strategies
• Support estimation and planning teams during project kick-off
• Build procurement schedules aligned with execution milestones

Strategic Sourcing & Contracting

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and vendor selection
• Manage RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiations
• Finalize contracts with optimized commercial terms
• Drive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure statutory and technical compliance

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Develop and manage pre-qualified vendor pool
• Conduct vendor capability and due diligence reviews
• Monitor vendor performance and SLA adherence
• Build long-term OEM and supplier partnerships

Project Procurement Support

• Coordinate with project and site teams for timely procurement
• Ensure PO release and delivery tracking
• Integrate procurement timelines with project controls
• Ensure compliance with DOA and procurement policies

Governance & Risk Control

• Drive procurement governance and SOP compliance
• Identify supply chain risks and mitigation strategies
• Implement procurement dashboards and tracking tools
• Support ESG-aligned procurement practices

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor procurement team
• Strengthen sourcing and negotiation capability

• B.Tech required
• MBA preferred

• 20+ years total experience
• 10+ years in procurement and contracts leadership
