About the role
Head of Manufacturing will be required to lead, direct, monitor and
control operations and maintenance (O&M) activities of the company to
deliver reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable operations, including
overseeing and managing the activities of the respective managers and
contractors (if any). The incumbent will be responsible for seeing to
maximization of revenues by ensuring optimum use of resources to meet demand
forecasted.

IdentifyrisksanddevelopmitigationplansandstrategiesforoptimisingO&M revenues and expenses
Ensure,enableandmonitorofimplementationoforganizationalstandardsand procedures in Operation & Maintenance. Contribute and
assist in the improvement and development of standards and procedures
Prepare,analyseandtrackdepartmentalbudgets.Establishoperatingand financial objectives and manage resources with optimal
usage
Managekeybusinessrelationshipswithmajorsuppliers
Buildstrongrelationshipswithexternalpartners,customersandregularlyinteract with them by attending sales workshops, seminars, events and
playing an active role in industry organizations
Benchmark
Production Process & Costs ( Internal & External) causing significant
contribution to EBITDA
Improve
Productivity per Man Day/Man Hour in each site by adopting best in class practices,
technology automation for improving leverage of Raw Material, Packaging
Material and Finished Goodsto achieve
appropriate cycle time with the objective of ROCE
Augment/Ramp
up production capabilities for meeting seasonal demands (Nil loss in revenue
due to non- availability)
Develop
capabilities/captive facilities for manufacturing new products or acquired
products from time to time.
Regularlyreviewreports,conductanalysisofanyshutdowns,andensure
adherence
to company SOPs, processes, methodologies and tools
Ensureminimizationofoverheads
Reviewteam’sperformanceonaregularbasisandprovideongoingfeedback

Basic Eligibilities :-
At least 20 plus years of experience in a
fast-paced dynamic business environment in managing large scaleO&Mprocessespreferablyforanorganization in the consumer durables
(experience in Kitchenware, Cookware, Appliances preferred)
Hands on experience of growing in the system
to a Manager in mass production environment with multiple manufacturing
processes and semi-automated environment with strong fundamental knowledge of
manufacturing, machine, maintenance and man management
Educational Qualifications :
Engineering Diploma/Degree - Mechanical
