About the role
Lead strategic client portfolios, complex technology engagements, strategic initiatives, and portfolio P& L. Operate across client, product, engineering, architecture, delivery, and business, balancing commercial priorities, technical complexity, and client expectations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can navigate difficult situations, build CXO-level trust, and drive outcomes through practical, scalable solutions.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Portfolio, P& L, and Strategic Clients:
- Own strategic client portfolios, including revenue, margins, P& L, delivery, and relationships.
- Build CXO relationships and drive account growth, retention, and long-term partnerships.
- Manage scope, timelines, commercials, dependencies, and escalations while protecting Lentra's interests.
Technology and Solution Leadership:
- Provide technical direction in complex, business-critical situations.
- Challenge impractical solutions and identify simpler, faster, and scalable alternatives.
- Balance immediate client needs with SaaS platform standardization, configuration, and reuse.
Multi-Client Delivery and Execution:
- Oversee multiple strategic engagements and drive predictable execution across engineering, product, QA, DevOps, architecture, and delivery.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks early and intervene to resolve critical issues.
- Drive accountability, quality, speed, and a problem-solving culture.
Leadership and Strategic Initiatives:
- Develop senior technology and delivery leaders.
- Improve implementation speed, delivery economics, platform scalability, and client experience.
- Convert recurring client requirements into reusable capabilities and partner with product and engineering on strategy.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of meaningful hands-on software development experience is mandatory.
- 15-20 years in software engineering, technology leadership, enterprise delivery, or technology consulting.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple large enterprise clients and complex technology programs and P& L, commercial, or financial ownership.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, and enterprise applications.
- Experience leading cross-functional technology and delivery teams.
- Excellent CXO-level stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes despite significant constraints and changing priorities.
Preferred:
- Experience in SaaS, FinTech, banking, lending, or enterprise technology.
- Experience with Indian banks/NBFCs and large enterprises.
- Lending domain knowledge across LOS, LMS, underwriting, credit decisioning, or digital lending.
