We are seeking a Head – EHV Operations who will lead the establishment and operationalization of our upcoming EHV Cable manufacturing facility. The role will be responsible for setting up production processes, commissioning EHV manufacturing lines, developing operational capabilities, and driving safe, efficient, and high-quality production of EHV cables.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead production readiness and operational setup of the EHV manufacturing facility.
·Drive commissioning, stabilization, and optimization of EHV cable manufacturing operations.
·Manage VCV line operations, process controls, and production efficiency.
·Establish manufacturing processes, SOPs, quality standards, and productivity metrics.
·Build and develop the production, maintenance, and technical operations teams.
·Ensure achievement of production, quality, cost, safety, and delivery targets.
·Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams during plant setup and ramp-up.
·Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, yield, and operational excellence.
Candidate Profile
•Engineering graduate (Electrical / Mechanical preferred).
•18-25 years of manufacturing experience in the cable industry.
•Proven experience in EHV cable manufacturing (220kV and above).
•Hands-on experience operating and managing VCV lines is mandatory.
•Experience in commissioning, plant ramp-up, or greenfield/brownfield EHV projects preferred.
•Demonstrated leadership experience in Production, Manufacturing, or Operations roles.
•Strong understanding of EHV cable processes, quality systems, and operational excellence practices.
