About the role
The Head of Production will be responsible for leading overall sourcing activities related to manufacturing and ensuring it meets its quality assurance and scheduling goals by planning, scheduling, executing, and directing production activities.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring cost-effective production.
- Monitor all aspects of production procedures that are followed accordingly.
- Collect time and action information to ensure adherence to the BIBA Product Development Calendar.
- Interface with support teams to ensure production deadlines are met on a timely basis, be it for raw materials, fabrics, components, garment suppliers, or factories.
- Ensure planning/price closure/allocation.
- Interface with team members to ensure production deadlines are met on a timely basis.
- Recruitment and Branding/Marketing.
