Work location Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities·Study HVAC drawings and specifications.
·Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
·Estimate costs for equipment, ducting, piping, insulation, accessories, and installation.
·Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations.
·Conduct rate analysis and material/labor costing.
·Assist with techno-commercial proposals and tenders.
·Coordinate with sales, procurement, design, and project teams.
·Identify scope gaps and ensure timely, accurate competitive estimates.
·Maintain records, databases, and vendor quotations.
·Support value engineering and revise estimates as project requirements change.
Required Qualifications and Skills
·Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
·Minimum 2 years’ experience in HVAC estimation.
·Knowledge of ducting, chilled water piping, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment.
·Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
·Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
·Experience with AutoCAD and HVAC estimation software is an advantage.
·Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and coordination skills.
·Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments effectively.
Preferred Skills
·Experience in HVAC tendering and commercial estimation.
·Knowledge of HVAC materials, equipment specifications, and market pricing.
·Understanding of quantity surveying, rate analysis, and cost control.
·Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
