Temp Role: Summary of Responsibilities & Minimum Qualifications
A. Consolidated Responsibilities:
- P&L Production & Controls
- Produce daily P&L, reconcile breaks, and run standard controls.
- Follow established procedures and escalate issues to seniors.
- Risk & Governance
- Perform control checks such as P&L substantiation, adjustments review, etc.
- Ensure adherence to policies.
- Business Understanding
- Develop working knowledge of the Fixed Income products supported and valuation basics.
- Understand key drivers of P&L for the assigned desk.
- Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and circulate daily P&L reports and commentary.
- Interact mainly with Finance & Ops teams and BUs where applicable.
- Teamwork & Working Style
- Execute tasks under guidance from seniors.
- Focus on accuracy, timeliness, and learning on the job.
B. Minimum Qualifications – Associate
- Education:
- Commerce or Finance degree; CA / MBA / CFA preferred.
- Experience:
- 1 to 3 years typically considered. (CA freshers can apply)
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail, good analytical ability, Excel proficiency.
- Basic understanding of financial products and valuation concepts.
- Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines.
