About the role
Design, develop, and maintain IBM IIB / ACE message flows, subflows, and integration applications.
Develop complex message transformations using ESQL, Java, XSLT, and Graphical Data Mapping.
Work extensively with IBM MQ for message-based integration.
Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services/APIs.
Work with XML, JSON, XSD, DFDL, and other message formats.
Implement routing, transformation, filtering, enrichment, validation, and orchestration logic.
Configure and integrate HTTP/HTTPS, JMS, FTP/SFTP, JDBC/ODBC, and MQ interfaces.
Implement robust error handling, exception handling, logging, retry, and recovery mechanisms.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, SIT/UAT support, and production deployment activities.
Troubleshoot message-flow failures, connectivity issues, and performance-related problems.
Deploy integration applications using BAR files and support environment configuration.
Work with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and DevOps practices where applicable.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and upstream/downstream application teams.
Provide production/BAU support and participate in incident and problem
