About the role

Position Overview As an In-Service Support Engineer, you will serve as the technical focal point and the "Voice of the Customer" for worldwide airline operators. Operating within the Airbus TechRequest tool, you will investigate, troubleshoot, and answer engineering and operational queries regarding the Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (ACMS / ATA 31) for both the Single Aisle (SA / A320 Family) and Long Range (LR / A330, A350 Families) aircraft fleets.

Key Responsibilities • Query Management: Review, analyze, and provide accurate, high-quality engineering answers to customer technical queries via the TechRequest tool within specified SLAs. Cooperate with Airbus ACMS Design office, if needed.

• Troubleshooting Support: Provide critical troubleshooting recommendations (Engineering Work Orders / Technical Statements) for complex, in-service ACMS faults and Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS) issues.

• AOG & Fleet Support: Actively participate in urgent Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) troubleshooting and support the problem solving together with the Airbus Design Office.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with the Airbus Design Office (DO), Flight Test, Production, and vendors to bridge gaps between operator problems and factory solutions.

2. Hard & Technical Skills • ATA 31 Expertise: Deep knowledge of Indicating/Recording Systems, specifically ACMS (DMU/FDIMU/nFDIMU), FDR (Flight Data Recorder), and Centralized Fault Display Interface Units (CFDIU). • Aircraft Documentation: Advanced capability in reading, interpreting, and navigating Airbus documentation via airnavX (AMM, TSM, ASM, AWM, IPC, SB). • System Logic Fluency: Ability to interpret complex system diagrams, wiring schematics, interface control documents, and software logic descriptions. • Data & Tooling Competence: Experience working with digital customer support platforms (ideally Airbus World / TechRequest) and understanding flight data analysis formats.

3. Soft Skills & Communication • Language Proficiency: Negotiation-level English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Strong technical writing skills are crucial as all TechRequest outputs are legal records. • Customer-Centric Mindset: Highly service-oriented attitude with the empathy and resilience required to handle high-pressure airline operational issues. • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities to break down multi-system intermittent avionics anomalies. • Team Synergy: Adaptable team player capable of driving consensus when working across multi functional, international teams. 4. Assets / Nice-to-Have • An EASA Part-66 B2 License or formal Airbus Type Training on SA/LR fleets. • Experience with Airbus Service Bulletin (SB) processes and Continued Airworthiness Management (CAMO) regulations.

1. Education & Experience • Degree: Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Avionics Engineering (or equivalent).

• Industry Experience: Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in Airline Technical Services, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), or Aircraft Manufacturing Support. • Fleet Familiarity:
