About the role
1. Manage the flavour portfolio for carbonated soft drinks, juices, nectars, energy drinks, sports drinks, RTD beverages, flavoured water and alcoholic beverages.
2. Develop profiles such as orange, lemon-lime, mango, tropical fruits, cola, berry, tea, coffee, botanical and functional flavours.
3. Apply a strong understanding of acid / sweetness balance, flavour stability, heat processing, cloud / emulsion systems and flavour release.
4. Work with beverage manufacturers on new product development, reformulation and flavour optimisation.
5. Combine technical flavour knowledge, application development and customer management to drive business growth.
6. Manage the flavour portfolio for milk, yogurt, ice cream and dairy desserts.
7. Develop dairy flavour profiles such as vanilla, strawberry, mango, caramel and cream.
8. Apply a strong understanding of heat stability, protein / fat interaction and masking in dairy systems.
9. Work with dairy manufacturers to understand their needs and position suitable flavour solutions.
10. Combine technical flavour knowledge, application development and customer management to drive business growth.
