About the role
Position: Informatica 10.5.4 /10.5.8/ 10.6.X Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and migration of Informatica environments, including migrating from lower versions to 10.5.4 and beyond including 10.6.X.
- Migrate repositories from the older version to the new version, ensuring data integrity and seamless transition.
- Document the entire installation and migration process in detail, including step-by-step instructions, troubleshooting tips, and best practices.
- Develop shell scripts to automate tasks and optimize workflows.
- Interface with Informatica vendor customer support to resolve issues, seek clarifications, and ensure smooth migration and operations.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Required Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Informatica 10.5.4 and beyond 10.6.X administration, with hands-on experience working with lower versions of Informatica and migrating to newer versions.
- Strong expertise in backend databases as it relates to integrating with the tool and repository migration.
- Strong shell scripting skills for automation and process optimization.
- Exceptional documentation skills to create comprehensive and user-friendly guides for installation and migration processes.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and Informatica vendor customer support.
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to different time zones and work schedules.
