The Information Technology at Axis Bank aims to enable sophisticated product development, better market infrastructure, implementation of reliable techniques for control of risks and to help the financial intermediaries to reach geographically distant and diversified markets
About the Role:
To analyse and validate the business requirements for the specific application
To develop system specifications and test the system against the specifications / business scenarios provided
To coordinate the development effort for small to medium size projects / change requests
Key Responsibilities:
New technical requirements are properly integrated with existing processes
Participate during requirement gathering
Write technical requirements from a critical phase
Planning and Prioritization of the work
Interact with vendors to understand software limitations
Assist programmers during system development, ex: provide use cases, flowcharts or even database design
Responsible for system testing (SIT , Performance , security testing)
Responsible for designing components and providing that information to the developer.
Monitoring system compliance in accordance with IT policy standards.
Responsible for operational and Maintenance activities of the system
Co-ordinate with the project teams and ensures that the resources are equipped to be productive in time to meet requirements. Preparing Project plans and maintaining it.
Study technological and business trends to be able to recommend changes to technology and business process to take advantage of advances in both.
Evaluate alternative solutions to business problems and select preferred solution. Justify selection.
For Enterprise Development team:
Develop / customize data-warehouse systems
Develop / customize MIS reports
Develop a plan for the maintenance of data-warehouse
Plan and execute extraction, translate and loading of data from source systems to data-warehousing environment
Monitor and report data quality across the loading lifecycle
Deliver & Support
Resolve, recover and close application related incidents
Identify and classify application/data-warehouse related problems
Perform root cause analysis for application related problems
Resolve application related problems
Issue recommendations for improvement and create a related request for change [application related]
Maintain application related problem records, known problems, known errors and workarounds
Qualifications:
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
