About the role
Roles & Responsibilities: Conducting SDR of new stores. Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings including: -
- Store layouts, Elevations, Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP) o Furniture & Retail fixture layouts o Elevation & Section details as required
- Signages Details
- 3D for Mall Approvals
- Adapt Frido’s standard store designs to suit new site conditions based on the SDR and internal design brief.
- Extract and validate site measurements from SDRs, site surveys, and on-ground inputs.
- Coordinate with: Internal design, projects, external consultants and retail teams
- External vendors, contractors, and mall authorities (as needed) Ensure drawings are: Accurate, dimensionally correct, and build-ready o Aligned with brand standards and design guidelines
- Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized drawing records, version control, and documentation.
- Support project teams during execution by providing clarifications and updated drawings.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree / Diploma / ITI / Certification in Drafting, Architecture, or Interior Design. 3–6 years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably in retail / commercial interiors. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D). Strong proficiency in 3D design Hands-on experience creating: Layouts, Elevations, RCPs Good understanding of: Retail store planning Site measurements and SDR interpretation Basic MEP coordination (lighting, HVAC cut-outs, etc.) Ability to work with tight timelines and multiple store rollouts. Preferred (Good to Have) Experience in multi-store retail rollouts. Basic knowledge of materials, finishes, and on-site execution practices. Exposure to mall or high-street retail formats & compliances.
