- Basic Linux command-line skills, shell operations and operating-system concepts, with an interest in troubleshooting services and reading logs.
- Networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP and firewalls; conceptual understanding of compute, storage and networking on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Basic scripting ability in at least one of Bash, Python or Go, with the ability to explain, debug and improve a simple automation script.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, Docker and container concepts, plus an understanding of what CI/CD pipelines do and how they support software releases.
- Basic database knowledge, including defining structures, querying and modifying data, access control and transactions.
Qualifications
- B. Tech degree in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT).
- 0-1 year of experience.
