iOS Developer

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer with strong expertise in native iOS application development using Swift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and a seamless user experience.

You will work on commercial-grade mobile applications, integrate backend and third-party services, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to continuous improvement across the application development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile applications using appropriate architecture patterns.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the iOS application lifecycle, app states, memory management, and background execution.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to deliver seamless application functionality.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues through systematic debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, stability, and resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure application quality.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, QA teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable software.
• Use Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines to support build automation, testing, and application releases.
• Implement telemetry and monitoring to improve production observability and incident resolution.
• Follow secure coding practices and established application security standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices, release processes, and production support.
• Work with Azure, DevOps, or SRE teams where required to support build-and-run responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in native iOS development using Swift.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining commercial iOS applications.
• Deep understanding of the iOS application lifecycle and application behavior across different states.
• Experience with mobile application architecture patterns and writing clean, modular, maintainable code.
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Proven ability to debug production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes.
• Experience in application performance optimization and improving app reliability.
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and UI automation tests.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, and release management.
• Understanding of telemetry, logging, monitoring, and production diagnostics.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and mobile application security standards.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure and cloud-based development environments.
• Experience working with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
• Familiarity with build-and-run ownership, production operations, and incident management.
