Position Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with expertise in Azure Cloud and IoT testing to

join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leading testing efforts for

cloud-based applications and IoT devices, ensuring seamless integration, functionality,

security, and performance. The candidate should possess a deep understanding of Azure

cloud services, IoT ecosystems, and automation frameworks to drive quality and reliability

in complex systems.

responsibilities

 Lead the end-to-end testing of Azure-based applications and IoT solutions.

 Define test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks for cloud and IoT testing.

 Develop and execute functional, regression, performance, security, and end-to-end tests

for Azure and IoT platforms.

 Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure test coverage

across various use cases.

 Validate IoT device communication, data transmission, and cloud integration for real-

time applications.

 Implement test automation using industry-standard tools to improve efficiency and

accuracy.

 Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability standards for cloud and

IoT solutions.

 Troubleshoot complex integration issues between IoT devices, cloud services, and

applications.

 Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers on cloud and IoT testing

methodologies.

Required qualifications

Educational & Professional Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related field.

 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4+ years in Azure Cloud

and IoT testing.

 Experience in leading testing teams and defining test strategies for cloud-based and

IoT applications.

Soft Skills:

 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with business and

technical teams.

 Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

 Experience in working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Primary Skills (Must-Have):

 Azure Cloud Services: Azure IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Azure Event Grid, Azure Monitor,

Azure DevOps.

 IoT Testing: Device connectivity, data ingestion, cloud integration, and real-time

processing.

 API Testing: RESTful API validation using Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.

 Test Automation: Selenium, Robot Framework, JUnit, TestNG, or Python-based

automation.

 Performance & Security Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner, and IoT security testing

frameworks.

 CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and

Kubernetes.

 Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript for automation

scripting.

 Protocols & Communication Standards: MQTT, AMQP, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN.

Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have):

 Experience with edge computing and IoT firmware testing.

 Knowledge of AI/ML integration in IoT-based solutions.

 Exposure to cloud security frameworks (NIST, CIS benchmarks, OWASP).

 Hands-on experience with Big Data analytics & monitoring tools.

 Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools like JIRA,

Zephyr, or TestRail.

Mandatory Skills Automation Testing – Selenium with Java or Python.(5 Yrs of Relevant exp in Automation)

Robot Framework

Experience with Cloud Services example – Azure/AWS/EC2/Docker/Kubernetes.

Exp with Web Application Testing

IOT Experience.
