IP & Patent Documentation Specialist / Engineer – IP documentation, patent searching, or technical writing within a global technology or engineering enterprise ( 6 - 8 years of Experience)
To be able to work for Domestic and International requirements
Should have good communication both written and verbal.
Essential / Highly Desired Skills
- Bachelors / Masters in Electronics and Communication Engineering / Similar Discipline
- Strong in IP Management and Patent documentation
- Proficiency with IP management software \ patent analytics platforms (e.g., Questel Orbit, PatSnap etc)
- Knowledge on international patent frameworks and Hands on experience to handle R&D engineering teams, innovation leads, and internal/external patent attorneys.
- Experience with Electronic, Electro-Mechanical, Embedded, software/AI/IoT related Ideas patent drafting
- Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse, cross-cultural engineering teams
- Fluent in technical & legal English; strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to details
- Hands on Experience with patent searching, technical documentation writing
- Handling full Patent cycle – Managing activities from ideas to filing and granting patent
- Experience with Technical & Legal documents Drafting - Translate complex technical innovations (hardware, firmware, edge/cloud software) into detailed, structured invention disclosure packages and preliminary patent specifications.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with power systems, home automation, connected products, IoT architectures, edge computing, or energy management products
- Understanding Embedded Electronic product life cycle
- Worked with Global products/ teams
