About the role
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory Management: Maintain a detailed inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software.
- Procurement: Coordinate the acquisition of new assets based on organizational needs.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal.
- Compliance: Ensure all assets comply with organizational policies and vendor contracts.
- Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize technology spending and eliminate waste.
- Policy Development: Create and implement policies for asset management.
- Data Management: Maintain databases and records of licenses, service agreements, and warranties.
- Budget Planning: Ensure the IT department’s budget is adhered to, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analyses and financial forecasting to support decision-making.
- Other duties as assigned.
