About the role

Key Responsibilities:

Sound knowledge on ASME Codes - piping
Review and verify piping isometric drawings against P&IDs, layouts, and 3D models to ensure routing integrity, component placement, and labelling accuracy.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, engineering standards, ASME/API codes, and client requirements.
Check dimensional accuracy, verify lengths, angles, elevations, supports, and weld locations align with project requirements.
Perform clash detection and spatial coordination with structures, equipment, and other systems using CAD/PDMS/E3D/Smart Plant/Navisworks.
Cross-verify line lists to confirm correct line numbers, sizes, ratings, material specs, insulation, and spool details.
Ensure constructability: validate access, supports, straight-run lengths, line breaks, and maintenance considerations.
Redline drawings and mark-up required changes, track and record revisions and approvals.
Maintain detailed records of checks, deviations, and approvals; prepare reports for engineering review boards.
Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and coordination meetings to resolve drawing issues.
Preparation of Piping Isometrics based on Layout drawing.
Preparation of Piping Design by referring P&ID
Ability to read P & ID and based on that prepare Piping 3D
Ability to read CAESAR II report.
Extraction of BOM from Isometric drawing
Familiar with Navis model and clash test
Ability to handle projects individually
