Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Software Engineering, Related Engineering Discipline
Experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years in cloud architecture roles.
- Experience delivering large-scale IoT, telematics, or connected vehicle platforms.
- Proven experience designing distributed cloud-native systems handling large-scale device connectivity.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in AWS Cloud Architecture and cloud-native solution design.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, containerization, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Proficiency in at least one backend technology stack such as Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience designing and governing REST APIs, API gateways, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
- Good understanding of event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and streaming technologies (Kafka preferred).
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra or equivalent).
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation practices.
- Experience implementing observability, monitoring, logging, and platform reliability solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, RBAC, PKI, certificates, and secure communication protocols.
- Experience with high-volume IoT, telematics, or connected-device platforms is highly desirable.
