Job Title: Senior Java Developer – AWS Cloud

Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid / Onsite options depending on employer)

Experience: 6+ Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

🧠 Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot
Architect and implement microservices-based solutions with integration to front-end, mobile, and external APIs
Develop and deploy applications on AWS Cloud using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, DynamoDB
Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage cloud resources
Ensure best practices in security, performance, monitoring, and logging using AWS native tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.)
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive agile delivery in sprints

🛠️ Required Skills:

6+ years of experience in Java-based application development
Strong in Spring Framework: Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud, Spring Security
Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
Proven hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB/MongoDB)
Hands-on experience with Docker, and exposure to Kubernetes / ECS / EKS is a plus
Experience in Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), Jira, and Confluence

📈 Preferred / Nice to Have:

AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect – Associate)
Experience with Serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions)
Knowledge of message queues like SQS, SNS, Kafka
Exposure to unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
Familiar with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, ELK
