Job Description:We are looking for a passionate and experienced Java Developer with solid expertise in AWS cloud services to join our dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality, scalable backend services and APIs on the AWS cloud platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure Java-based backend services.
- Work with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.
- Collaborate with DevOps team for CI/CD implementation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Optimize performance of applications hosted on the cloud.
- Participate in Agile development, daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Ensure best practices in code quality, unit testing, and software design patterns.
- Mentor junior developers when needed.
- Strong core Java and Java 8/11+ development experience.
- Solid understanding of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA).
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on AWS experience – EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, API Gateway, IAM, etc.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.
- Understanding of cloud security, scalability, and fault-tolerant design.
- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate, or Solutions Architect) is a plus.
- Experience in message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
