About the role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Microservices Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable microservices applications. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to create high-performance, distributed systems, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications using Java and related technologies (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.).
- API Development:
- Build RESTful APIs and web services that are scalable and maintainable, ensuring the integrity and security of the services.
- Architecture:
- Contribute to the design and architecture of microservices, ensuring scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of microservices into the existing platform.
- Testing & Quality:
- Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code quality and application performance. Leverage testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and others.
- Performance Optimization:
- Optimize microservices for maximum performance, scalability, and availability, ensuring a high level of reliability.
- Cloud & DevOps:
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy and manage microservices in a cloud environment.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Keep up with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices related to microservices architecture and Java development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in Java development (3+ years).
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other Java frameworks for microservices.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and working with tools like Swagger for API documentation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Experience with Databases (SQL and NoSQL) and Caching (Redis, Memcached).
- Proficient in using version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.
